I was born in 1984 and was not vaccinated because at some point around that time my parents became part of the anti-vaccine crowd. I guess these folks have been around for a long time. I have health insurance now, so I finally went and got my baby shots.
@ArabidopsisGirl: Awesome!!! It's true, the anti-vaccine movement has been around as long as there has been vaccines. The only difference is their reasons change over time and become even less scientific. I hope your parents are starting to come around as well.
